Guns and alcohol from Europe become sugar and coffee in the Caribbean through the trafficking of millions of people from Alkebulan. That's the Triangular Trade. The white system turns the blood of Africans into sweet sugar in their coffee to drink. For three centuries in Ayiti. Ayiti was the richest colony in the world for them. But they were blind to the "Old Bone" of the land awakening beneath their feet.
In Part 6, the veil continues to be pulled back. As the Amazing Grace reloads its hold with plantation goods for Europe, the Sea of Souls begins its ascent toward the Masif di Nò. While one cargo is branded for the whip, another is answering the call of the Ancestors.
"We won’t always stay small. The star-metal answers to our blood," says Toya.
